Shulman Memorial update: Leschi Park walk-through

We are just a few days away from the Leschi Park walk-through (Sunday, April 16 at 10 a.m.) which has been designed to facilitate a free and casual exchange of ideas between Friends of Steve Schulman

and the community. Elements to be discussed are:

1) where a potential memorial structure (or feature) might be sited within the park, and

2) what type of feature it could be (picnic shelter, gazebo, restored fountain area etc).

At the end of the walk-through we plan to have a straw poll — where folks share their top options, and also share any pertinent information as to what they think would be most meaningful to the community of the memorial concepts, and/or what impact they believe certain elements would have (both positive and negative).

We will meet on Sunday, April 16th at 10am. Meet at Leschi Park at the picnic tables near Leschi Market. We will be meeting outside, so please dress and plan accordingly.
