Moorage update

While we informed you that June 1 was the planned operations transition day, Schober disputed Parks’ termination of the lease and requested an extended termination date.

While we disagree with Schober’s legal position, we are currently in discussions to see if there is a way to give Schober a little more time for transition in a way that recognizes the value of Schober’s experience with the moorages and avoids legal action. In the meantime, Schober will continue on for at least one more month, and you should continue to make any payments that are due under your moorage rental agreement in June directly to Schober.

We realize this impacts you, the tenants, and will update you as soon as more information is available. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns for Seattle Parks and Recreation, or just want to reach Peggy Tosdal, the incoming moorage manager, she can be reached at 206 708-4619, or via email at peggy.tosdal@seattle.gov.

We will continue to update you as more information becomes available.
