  • Leschi ArtWalk | Local event with art & music

    The Leschi ArtWalk is an annual event with local vendors, music and activities for kids. Leschi ArtWalk Mark your calendars for our 10th annual ArtWalk on Saturday, Sept 14th, 2024 from 11am-4pm . Join us for music, food, unique vendors, activities for kids and more! Vendors should submit an online application here . The registration deadline is Sept 7th. $35 non refundable check, PayPal or money order required for registration. Come enjoy this free, family-friendly, outdoor event. Lots of local artists, three live musical groups, and activities for children. Located in Leschi along Lakeside Ave between the BluWater Bistro (102 Lakeside Ave) and Park Postal. Link to Facebook event . Local artists include L C Pitre, local Central District artist who studied under Jacob Lawrence, Lanier’s Fine Candies whose motto is “everything’s better when it’s covered in chocolate,” fabulous wooden bowls, several wonderful jewelers, writers and other great booths. Fun for children including games, a magician, big slide, face painting, temporary tattoos, and other activities. We have a great musical line-up as well: Dysfunctional Bluegrass Band, featuring some of Seattle’s finest bluegrass musicians will be creating fantastic music for us from noon to one. Well known marimba ensemble, Vawachi II, plays high energy dance music in a Zimbabwean-style from 3-4pm. Leschi is a diverse and dynamic Seattle community with a small but mighty “downtown” that borders Lake Washington. The event is sponsored by the Leschi Community Council and supported by the BluWater Bistro, The Leschi Market, Park Postal and other local businesses.
