Leschi ArtWalk

Mark your calendars for our 10th annual ArtWalk on Saturday, Sept 9th, 2023 from 11am-4pm. Join us for music, food, unique vendors, activities for kids and more!

Note: the application window for booths has closed (as of 8/23).

Come enjoy this free, family-friendly, outdoor event. Lots of local artists, three live musical groups, and activities for children. Located in Leschi along Lakeside Ave between the BluWater Bistro (102 Lakeside Ave) and Park Postal. Link to Facebook event.

Local artists include L C Pitre, local Central District artist who studied under Jacob Lawrence, Lanier’s Fine Candies whose motto is “everything’s better when it’s covered in chocolate,” fabulous wooden bowls, several wonderful jewelers, writers and other great booths.

Fun for children including games, a magician, big slide, face painting, temporary tattoos, and other activities.

We have a great musical line-up as well:

  • Dysfunctional Bluegrass Band, featuring some of Seattle’s finest bluegrass musicians will be creating fantastic music for us from noon to one.

  • Nik and Joe, a duo from the well-known group, The Nines, will sing favorite songs from the past several decades from 1:30p-2:30p.

  • Well known marimba ensemble, Vawachi II, plays high energy dance music in a Zimbabwean-style from 3-4pm.

Leschi is a diverse and dynamic Seattle community with a small but mighty “downtown” that borders Lake Washington. The event is sponsored by the Leschi Community Council and supported by the BluWater Bistro, The Leschi Market, Park Postal and other local businesses.
