SDOT is improving shoreline habitat at the South Dearborn Street End shoreline. This site is part of SDOT's Shoreline Street Ends program, which aims to enhance pubic access to shorelines at over 140 locations where Seattle streets end at water bodies.
Improvements at the South Dearborn Street End will focus on restorative native plantings and pedestrian access through the site.
The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2026. SDOT is seeking community feedback on the design and volunteers to help improve and care for this public space.
