Emergency Preparedness

When the Leschi Community Council last featured a program on emergency preparedness, the primary focus was on earthquakes. Since then, we have learned that climate change can bring us other emergencies: floods, forest fires, drought and heat domes, a term we were unaware of before this summer. Leschi CC Board members Tracy Bier and Lawrence Pitre will present a program on November 3rd to make us all aware of the resources which are available when an emergency does occur. Being aware and prepared can help us get through emergencies with a minimum of injuries. Be sure to Zoom in next month so you know what to do! More details next month.
